My name is Marina, and I have dedicated over 14 years to helping people stay healthy as a pharmacist. My mission has always been caring for others. But when the war came to our home, my world, like the world of every Ukrainian, turned upside down. I felt confusion, pain, and despair... It seemed like everything had lost its meaning.
However, over time, I realised that we need to hold on to what is ours to our roots, to our culture, to our incredible inner strength. That is how the idea to create a YouTube channel was born — to celebrate the courage of the Ukrainian people and to share our unique culture with the world.
I named it MOTANKA. For me, it is not just a name. A motanka is our ancient Ukrainian amulet, a symbol of the invisible but unbreakable connection between generations. It carries protection, love, and wishes for well-being.
On my channel, I want to show Ukraine the way I see it — quiet and mighty, tender and unbreakable 🫶. I invite you to join this journey, where together we will preserve our history and create a new future.
