My name is Sofiia Kalinovska, I'm a digital marketer, IT

I'm Ukrainian. I arrived in the UK in September 2022 and settled in Glasgow.
Before arriving in Scotland, I studied a lot of information on the Internet,
both on the main website of your country and on the pages of charitable
organizations. So, 2 days later, I started writing the structure of a chatbot
"A New Life in Scotland" that could provide urgent, official, and
useful information via a smartphone in the Telegram messenger, which is convenient
for all Ukrainians, because almost everyone has it in their pocket.
The First Digital Ukrainian Club is a continuation and expansion of the chatbot with its own Instagram page and access to the Education Action portal from the Ukrainian government, regarding obtaining new professions online.
While communicating with Ukrainians who became tenants in
Glasgow, questions and answers arose, so I could again be useful and use my
knowledge to help others.
So, on September 3, 2023, the first Ukrainian forum was held
in Govan Housing exclusively for Ukrainians, where we had the opportunity to
ask questions about gas, light, windows, the cleaning procedure, about who our
home officers and financial consultants are, how to behave correctly in urgent
situations, etc.
We have a strong community, our chatbot has migrated to the
website, and our App. The number of subscribers is more than 4400 Ukrainians.
Personally, and on behalf of all Ukrainians, I would like to
thank the UK, the Scottish Government, Glasgow Council, Govan Housing, and
everyone involved for helping and protecting us all.
You are such incredible and open people with big hearts.
